Dragon*Con, here it comes!

OK I cannot tell you how excited I am that it’s that fun time of year again... A time to revel in my geekdom! Embrace my freakiness!! Wings, Horns, Stilts, Storm Troopers, Angels, Demons, Robots~ you name it and you will find it at this fabulous gathering. Cartoon characters, movie stars, artists of all ages. It is the ultimate example of everyone fitting in. I get to be me only better, a veritable SUPER-ME, for 4 whole days as the Science Fiction/ Fantasy crowd invade downtown Atlanta.

I will be the kid in a candy store rushing from booth to booth and panel to panel. I will get autographs and books signed and lots and lots of pictures!!! It will take a week just to recover!

One of my roommates actually got accepted in the juried art show. Go Kathy!!! That will be me next year!
The only thing missing for me is a couple of people… Travis, wish you could go. Ellen I will miss you there too. But next year you and the drool monster have to come! And we have to stay at one of the hotels! AND NEVER SLEEP!!!!!!!!! And Leslie you know I miss you everyday not just on Dragon*Con Weekend! Some day you need to come down for the Con and bring Carys with you so we can dress her up as a cute little fairy!
